Shipping Policy

JAS Meats ships perishable meat products. To protect product quality and food safety, please review the terms below before placing an order.

Delivery Timeframe

  • We deliver within 5 business days of order confirmation and payment receipt.

  • “Business days” means Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

  • Remote or limited‑access locations may require coordination; we will contact you if special arrangements are needed to meet the 5‑business‑day window.

Dispatch & Carrier

  • Orders are shipped using insulated packaging and refrigerant materials appropriate for the product (e.g., gel packs or dry ice).

  • Carrier selection and service level are at our discretion to meet the delivery timeframe and maintain the cold chain.

Shipping Rates & Fees

  • Shipping costs, handling, cold‑pack materials, and any accessorial charges (lift‑gate, appointment, residential surcharge) are displayed at checkout or provided on your invoice.

  • All shipping and handling fees are non‑refundable.

Address Accuracy & Delivery

  • You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for receiving the shipment on the expected delivery date.

  • Risk of loss passes upon delivery to the address you provide. If the carrier confirms delivery (including photo/scan/driver GPS) to the address on the order, JAS Meats’ obligation is fulfilled.

  • Missed deliveries, refused shipments, inaccessible sites, or incorrect/insufficient addresses may result in disposal of perishable goods and no refund or replacement.

Temperature Control & Handling

  • Upon delivery, immediately refrigerate or freeze products according to safe‑handling guidelines.

  • Refrigerants (e.g., gel packs, dry ice) may be partially or fully dissipated upon arrival; this alone does not indicate spoilage. Use a calibrated thermometer and standard food‑safety practices.

Changes After Ordering

  • To ensure timely delivery and food safety, orders cannot be modified once processed (e.g., address changes, item swaps, delivery holds).

Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, carrier disruptions, natural disasters).
